Barry, the last time I had a flu shot was in the 1990's and it was very much due to HR pressure. That winter, I had the most severe case of flu of my life. My wife also came down with it. She had not been vaccinated and was far less ill than I was. As a result, I did my own research and the evidence justifying the vaccine was so flaky that I vowed never again. Those were days when you could have an open and honest conversation with your GP and I did so. He concurred with the conclusions that I had reached. Sadly, I think there are far too few GPs who would even dare enter into such a conversation nowadays, such is the fear mentality generated from management in the UK NHS and, I think, most national health services. That is far from healthy!

I think I may have told you before that last Christmas, somebody brought covid to our nochebuena celebrations at my neighbours. Janet and I were the only non vaccinated attendees. We were under the weather for a couple of days but took our normal 'self medication' procedures. Of the other attendees, several were ill for at least two weeks and one required hospital treatment. The thing that amazed me is that I spoke to my neighbour about the matter. He has had all the covid vaccinations and boosters. I asked him what he would do when offered a booster this autumn. He proffered his arm and said 'Yes please'. I just don't understand the lack of questioning, especially after nearly four years of evidence, which. logically, demands a lot more debate than the media and politicians are prepared to enter into.

I agree, Peter. The eagerness "to get with the program" threatens freedom for all of us. And yes doctors no longer feel free to tell you what they really think. Some to avoid cognitive dissonance avoid learning.

Yup. My family never got the flu shot because we watched our elderly grandmother go get her shot religiously and then proceed to get the flu, very badly, anyway. But we didn’t know the research. Then, my younger brother became a nurse. After being hired on at a hospital, he got curious about the flu vaccine and started doing his own research. (Was never taught about this in nursing school.) His conclusions: the flu shot does diddly squat and he started changing the proscribed wording when offering the shot to patients. He’d spout the company line like he was supposed to and then tack on something like, “You’re well within your rights to refuse this, if you want.” A lot of people did. He refused to get one himself and had to spend the entire flu season in a mask on the floor (way before Covid ever happened) while his vaccinated coworkers got flu anyway and coughed, sniffled, and sneezed unhindered. Science.

Amanda, I hope your brother understands that by his simple act of courage, he is helping to save freedom. He might not feel courageous, he is just acting from the deep place of goodness in him. Yet for others who don't know how to live from that place, his actions seem like willful courage.

I agree with Peter Moore. The last time I had the flu vaccine was in 1998 and I had a bad case of flu two weeks later. I was very sick for two weeks. I’ve never had the vaccine since nor the flu. I exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet. Big Pharma is a money machine only.

Just before the Covid scamdemic I worked as a chaplain for three years at five different hospitals and long term care facilities. Along the way I had five different supervisors. I had only one supervisor that pushed for the vaccine, flu vaccine that is. She could not make me take it, and she needed my help. I absolutely refused. During those three years I found it quite interesting that those that got the flu vaccine, well most of them got sick and missed work. I personally witnessed this. Many may know this, but in facilities like this; people will wear a symbol around their lanyard/ID that represents/promotes the flu vaccine; so you know who got it.

We must take care of ourselves and get to know our body’s health. I will stick with my many daily supplements, and the FLCC’s Math + protocol when and if I get a respiratory illness. I have had two since March 2020.

No, I never did get tested for Covid, and never will. I know my body, and knew to stay away from other people when I am sick, as I have done for the last 40+ years. Furthermore, I knew I was not at risk for death (no comorbidities), and did not want to support the bullshit narrative.

(Side note: I do remember Gates one time saying, at the end of an earth over-population presentation, “Well we always have vaccines.” Hmm…)

Thx for your good work Barry.

Thanks, Chris. The more people who take responsibility, the more others feel the freedom to do the same.

This. And I would add good breathing habits and self-kindness.

PS And the rest of the article is well worth a read. Lots of helpful statistics and perspective.

"Food is your best medicine. Exercise is your best medicine. Knowing who you are, not special, but part of one humanity is your best medicine. You can work to stack the odds in your favor, yet there are no guarantees."

I had my privileges at three medical facilities SUSPENDED on two separate ‘flu’ seasons because I did not produce documentation to the medical staff office of my flu shot. Both times I was denied exemption first. Read about ‘Healthy People 2020’ -a program part of the PAtient Protection (un)Affordable Care Act (obamacare).

This program progressively cut CMS government reimbursement to medical facilities from about yrs 2014-2020 if the facility could not document a specified percentage of flu “vaccinated” workers on staff. It was all about the paperwork. The chief of the medical staff didn’t care, he just was under pressure from the corporation to get documentation. So, years following, that’s what I did-gave them a document. The flu shot is the original non-vaccine vaccine, and the original vaccine to gain significant expansion due to indemnification of vaccine manufacturers in the 1980’s.

Brad, I appreciated reading your comments. Healthy People 2020 is new to me so thanks for the pointer.

I wrote about the 1986 Act in this essay:https://www.aier.org/article/why-operation-warp-speed-could-be-deadly/
