Very true. There are many examples of extreme hubris on this subject among supposedly intelligent people. My favorite is the glassy-eyed certainty that more carbon dioxide in the air will have catastrophic consequences. Yet ice core samples reveal that it was many times higher than now throughout most of the earth's (recorded) history, about three times as high when dinosaurs roamed the earth and life was thriving, as long as one of the big guys didn't eat you. Funny how seldom that's mentioned today.

But wait! There's more! You've probably heard of the latest great idea: put a giant umbrella in space to partially shade earth. Don't like that one? Not to worry, they have an inexhaustible supply of new plans, each more sweeping than the one before.

JdL, I had not heard about the umbrella. Wow!

The hubris is breathtaking.

Exactly! The CO2 conjecture is what bothers me also. Because it hasn't been proven retrospectively or by experiments.

If you think about it water vapor (that is a very potent greenhouse gas) is always more than 1% of the atmosphere; it goes up to 5%. CO2 is 0.0415% of the atmosphere. So, if the CO2 doubles, the aggregate of the greenhouse gases increases around 4% in the very arid climates, and less than 1% in the humid ones. How much of a difference can an increase of this magnitude make?

And there are so many other things that the climate scientist don't seem to consider. Like the radiative cooling property that CO2 has, or that the ocean cools and heats almost the same way as the atmosphere does.

Several days a week, but not everyday, our skies in the South Island of New Zealand are chequered with trails of white material coming from planes, which spread out, join together, and create clouds. We are led to believe they are vapour trails. They are not! Vapour trails are short in length and disappear as the plane flies along. I have been observing these cloud-trails for many months . They are blocking the sun, and I wonder what role they are playing in the extraordinary and unrelenting rain the North Island has been experiencing this year.

Thank you for your report, Sharrylou.

I began to observe what you report in urban areas of the USA in 99. These are lower atmosphere flights and you are right these are not airline vapours, despite absurd claims. What is proposed is upper atmosphere interferences and will be magnitudes more catastrophic.

Thank you for this.

Bloody hell, Barry. The implications of the suggested solution to global warming sound diabolical. Warmly ... John

John, I don't think they are aware of how diabolical and insane their plans are. Their hubris and arrogance are unbounded and the world they see is through a very distorted lens.

The activity of geoengineering, aka solar radiation management, has been taking place all over planet earth for at least the last 75 years. It is happening at an accelerated rate now, leading to frequent occurrences of weather whiplash (extreme heat followed by unseasonable cold), leading to crop failures and the likely starvation of large populations. For details on the geoengineering that has been ongoing go to the website: https://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/. Also on the website is a documentary called the "Dimming": https://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/the-dimming-full-length-climate-engineering-documentary/. The author and producer of the website, Dane Wigington has a lot of documentation, especially government documents to prove that geoengineering has been conducted for a long time.

Vance, I first started to observe lower atmosphere chemtrails in Maryland in 99.

I will check out your links but I'm skeptical of the 75 year claim. There were too few flights back then.

In any case, what I wrote about is upper atmosphere projects whose destructive impact will be much greater.

I will add this link to yours. RFK Jr. interviews Dane Wigington https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqSkbHKSnjI&t=1s

Thanks again, Vance.
