It’s the natural state. What happened in the western world and more or less got imposed by conquest on the rest is the abnormality.
I have little hope for Latin America. They are not a bright people, they are always going to have some needs they have a hard time meeting and they are going to notice that other people are doing better then them and they can take from them with votes.
This goes in cycles. They do some socialism, it sucks, they hate it for awhile, it comes back. The ups and downs of commodity prices add their own drama to the mix.
