And, your words/thoughts about the Coronavirus vaccines holds true for every. single. childhood vaccine. Especially since the freedom from any liability for their injuries/deaths is extended to adults who take any vaccine on the childhood schedule. It has taken the latest virus vaccine to wake up a lot of people to the liability-free status of these manufacturers. And don't get me started on the fact that the government has offset a large share of the start-up costs, the free advertising, and mandating their products. What a business model!!
COVID and COVID vaccines have been a horror show of death and injury all because the Prep Act waives liability for vaccine manufacturers, hospitals, doctors, federal agencies, all involved in treating COVID patients. The law must be changed or it will happen again!!
I've read this article on AIER when it was written, then I read the "wrap speed". These articles are the articles that made me a fan because they express how I felt about vaccines. And I have to say that I also haven't found any other economist to point out how the whole developing and promoting mechanism is faulty.
But after reading more, the spiritual content is what I value more of these essays.

I really mean it that you were alone. I read Mises Institute and AIER. I would expect some people to point out how the economics of the vaccines are really bogus, but nobody did as far as I know. I don't want to name names though, because I appreciate the economists I read nonetheless.
I have refrained from naming names too. One prominent economist (with free market credentials) pronounced the program a great success and called for more warp speed vaccines for respiratory illnesses.

Even if economists had a seat at the table, most have shown they will clap for expansion of government power.
