“The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” The evil is among us. We must stop wringing our hands, recognize the evil for what it is and join together in calling it out in any way necessary regardless of the consequences

Brilliant, Barry. It reminds me of Philip Zimbardo’s findings during the Stanford Prison Experiment: in the face of evil, there are three things you can do:

- become a perpetrator

- become an enabler

- become a hero, and decry the evil.

Many have chosen the second path. Evil can thrive when good people say nothing.

Solzhenitsyn and Dostoevsky were brilliant at that time. You and Weiss are now. We need more individuals to speak on evils

She’s been great. I especially enjoyed her recent podcast. It’s also a very clear parallel for me between this and Covid. The ease with which people wish to fit in and go along is terrifying. What I do NOT understand is less the universities and the kool aid kids. It’s the people who insist these are all false flag operations designed to suck us all into unnecessary wars. I’m struggling with that. Everyone I admired in the lockdown pushback is at it. People who have had a strong voice in pushing back on government over reach like Candace Owen. The ignorance of the latter in her tweets is stunning.

Thank you for writing this! More people need to read Solzhenitsyn. It is easy to be a pacifist when the barbarians are not at your door!
