What a marvelous reminder that becoming is a process rather than an event. I need to hear this whenever I start to settle too deeply into the comfort zone.

Bryan, There is a marvelous story told by novelist Steven Pressfield about the years he was floundering. Finally, he buckled down and produced a novel. His friend and mentor advised him to begin the next one immediately.

I finally retired from formal work this past November at age 72. Much of my time is now spent learning-by-doing at bread baking. Got my sourdough starter going, trying different recipes, and bringing smiles to family and friends. Also helping my wife with her projects. No moss growing on either of us.
